JGR-Space Physics publishes original research in the broad field of space science. Manuscripts embracing aeronomy and magnetospheric physics, planetary atmospheres and magnetospheres, solar physics, interplanetary physics, and cosmic rays are welcome. Manuscripts that explore interactions among space science and other components of the Sun-Earth system are encouraged, as are multidisciplinary and system-level science papers. Manuscripts are expected to provide a significant new contribution to science or technology in the field. JGR Space Physics also welcomes submissions on new instrumentation, numerical models, or analysis methods, as long as such papers include an illustrative example demonstrating direct and timely relevance to space research. Members of the space research community are encouraged to submit proposals for focused, topical reviews or special collections.
